How about place a mining quota on newb corps. Every hour you can mine 1000m3 (or something like that). After that, you're quota is full and you can't mine anymore for that hour (day, whatever). It also encourages real newbs to explore all options ...

Seems to be a memory leak for some people now. Bizzare one too, if you're running two clients sometimes both will increase in mem usage, sometimes just one.

Here's a fun twist... I have two clients running on the same machine...one EVE process is increasing it's mem usage, and one isn't. At this point, I have no idea what's happening, but it wasn't like this before.

My memory usage for each EVE client increases by an average of 1,150k a minute...I'm well over 300mb usage now...it's NEVER done this before. There's definitely something introduced in RMR that's leaking.

EVE's memory usage now seems to creap up from approx. 130mb to over 250mb and more if you're signed on for a long period... My EVE process increases its mem usage by an average of 1,150k per minute now. Can anyone else confirm this?
